Queensland boulder opals are unlike any other opal on earth. Formed within the ancient ironstone of outback Queensland, each stone carries its host rock as a natural backing — creating a depth and richness of colour that solid opals simply cannot match.

Our collection is sourced from the legendary opal fields of Winton, Quilpie and Yowah, and includes some truly extraordinary specimens — Yowah nuts, picture opals and pipe opals, each one telling its own story. Look closely and you’ll find landscapes, faces and figures hidden within the colour — nature’s own artwork, millions of years in the making.

Every stone is professionally cut and polished, and photographed on a hand wherever possible to give you the most accurate sense of size. All measurements are listed in each product.
