Australian Opal Belemnite 6.3cts - Rare Cretaceous Fossil Specimen

A stunning natural Australian opal belemnite — a rare opalized fossil from the Cretaceous period, approximately 135 million years old. Belemnites were marine animals related to modern squid and cuttlefish, and their bullet-shaped rostrums are found as fossils across outback Australia. When opalized, they become extraordinary collector's pieces combining natural history with the fire and colour of Australian opal. This specimen displays beautiful opal colour and makes a striking pendant or display piece.
